All sparks die out in the end

Those clever Haskell people have been doing more work on parallel Haskell programs, this time using a monad to encapsulate the deterministic parallelism which allows the choice of different scheduling strategies. Tomas Petricek extends this in a blog post to implement the unamb operator. Simon Marlow has a great tutorial on GHC’s parallelism here.
