Thanks for clearing that up

The other day I was reading the section on accessibility domains in the C# language specification 3.0 when I came across the section 3.5.3 on protected access for instance members. I didn’t quite understand the rationale for this, but fortunately Eric Lippert’s blog has an old post on the subject which explains it well.
